The world health organisation defines health as ‘a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’.

So, even though the pain has gone it doesn’t mean health has returned. At Beach House Chiropractic our goal is to support and help you regain the best levels of health that you can, and more importantly to keep them there. After all, our motto is life at your best!

Moving Well

Exercise and movement are essential to complement your Chiropractic care at Beach House Chiropractic. Your Chiropractor will prescribe mobility, stretching and strengthening exercises that are specific to you. With a unique personal login to our exercise website, you’ll see clear demonstrations of how to complete each exercise. Please keep up your exercises to improve your speed of healing and maintain the gains you have made with your Chiropractic adjustments.

Eating Well

Our Chiropractors Dr Ali, Dr Yulia and Dr Theo believe that deciding what to eat at each meal is the biggest health decision you will make each day. Balanced nutrition is vital for energy, cell health and tissue repair. There are a variety of essential supplements that we also encourage you to consider. We stock these at the clinic. Alternatively you can simply check our nutritional website here in association with Nature’s Sunshine or talk to us when you’re next in the clinic.

There are some great places to eat healthy, nutritious food in Worthing now. Please ask us for our recommendations about raw, gluten free, organic, vegan and vegetarian food options.

Thinking  Well

Positive outcomes in Chiropractic are not based upon positive beliefs but we know that negative beliefs and getting ‘stressed’ have a detrimental effect upon health for a variety of reasons. A negative attitude and stress leads to increases of cortisol secretion which stimulate our ‘fight or flight’ response leading to tension, immune system dysfunction and fatigue. Remaining positive and calm will help you not only in daily life but with your all round well-being and your Chiropractic care.

Moving, eating and thinking better are not exclusive of each other, they are all linked within a continuous cycle.  Move more and you’ll feel happier.  Eat better and you’ll have more energy to keep moving.  Make new friends through more exercise, feel better about yourself and you’ll smile more!  This is just a simple example of how our choices to move, eat and think well play a vital role in our health and well-being.
