Acupuncture is a gentle, safe and natural approach to health care. It’s about balancing and restoring the body’s energy. Traditional Acupuncture is holistic in it’s approach. Each treatment is personalised and looks at the person as a whole, not just the condition. For most clients, Acupuncture is a deeply calming and enjoayable exeprience. A typical treatment appointment lasts 45 minutes.

Our acupuncture practitioner uses ultra-fine sterile needles inserted superficially into specific points around the body for therapeutic and preventative purposes. This triggers the body’s natural response to healing and promotes the natural flow of energy throughout the body.
What Happens First?
Your first acupuncture appointment lasts up to 90 minutes and focuses on understanding your health as a whole so a treatment plan can be tailored specifically to you. The session is calm, supportive and many people find it deeply relaxing.
During your first consultation we will:
-
Discuss your current symptoms and health concerns
-
Explore lifestyle factors such as sleep, diet and emotional wellbeing
-
Review relevant medical history to build a complete picture of your health
-
Carry out a gentle physical assessment, including pulse diagnosis
-
Create a personalised diagnosis and treatment plan
You will usually receive acupuncture during the same visit using ultra-fine, sterile, single-use needles that most people barely feel. The aim is to restore balance in the body, helping to relieve pain and tension, improve sleep and energy levels, and support overall wellbeing with minimal side effects. The fee for the consultation is £69.
